Enesim at the Smart Agenda Forum 2026 Conference

The fourth edition of the Smart Agenda Forum conference was organized by the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic in Stará Lesná. The event created a platform for expert discussion and the sharing of experiences related to the intelligent development of municipalities in Slovakia. The program also included presentations of implemented PilotInnCities projects, among them a solution for simulating electricity production and sharing – enesim.

From theory to practice: Electricity sharing and piloting in Pušovce and Žilina

In her presentation, Lucia Liptáková explained the basic rules of electricity sharing, which have been part of the Slovak Energy Act since October 2023. The free service for evaluating surplus electricity sharing is provided by the state-owned company OKTE, a.s., through its Energy Data Center system.

She also outlined the criteria for selecting pilot municipalities and their role in the testing process. The final solution, refined based on testing and feedback from municipalities, is publicly available. After registration, anyone interested in their own energy balance can try out the simulation.

Panel Discussion on Agile Piloting in a Living Lab

energIQube tested its solution as the only innovative company in two municipalities. In the panel discussion “Agile piloting and living labs: How to test innovations in municipalities,” moderated by Anton Marcinčin (ZMOS), Lucia Liptáková spoke mainly about the differences between piloting in a small village and a large city.

While small municipalities value simplicity, clarity, and easy-to-understand outputs, larger municipalities require advanced features, more complex use cases, and the ability to share information multiple staff members.
